Much more effective in answering the question. The way to enhance this further is to use terminology in terms of some of the things we looked at in Tuesday's lesson - talk about your audience in terms of a demographic or psychographic then explain how having that information influenced your production.
Looking at the demographics from my audience research I found that the respondents were mostly middle or working class. This was useful because from learning theory I know that the working class are more likely to be passive about what they watch and just accept what they are being shown. Whereas the middle class are more active and may accept or reject aspects of what they are being shown. This meant that when making my music video I needed to think about how to keep the attention of my middle class audience, I thought by making good use of intertextuality I could keep this audience interested as it adds more depth to the story and allows for interpretation. I gave my questionnaires out to college students which are most likely to fall into the psychographic group of mainstreamers, aspirers, succeeders and explorers (as they are typically young people). This was useful information to know and I think the character in my music video could come under the explorers category as she seeks new experiences, challenges the experiences she is having by trying to escape and seeks discovery by testing her self and her limits to find out who she is.
